IE – the struggle continues…!?
Since I joined the WebStandardsGroup – one thing I really enjoy is the newsletter ‘Some links for light reading’. Some excellent articles and links to keep up to date with latest developments. Since the arrival of IE7 – we are obviously all worried about what the new release will mean for the currently implemented hacks and other display bugs….
So here a few useful articles to read (courtesy of the WSG):
- New Headaches? – Dave Shea, mezzoblue.com
- Cascading Style Sheet Compatibility in IE7 – MSDN, microsoft.com
- Details on our CSS changes for IE – IEBlog, microsoft.com

prisca says:finally – now there are standalone versions of IE available :)
Instead of upgrading your IE6 to the latest version – you can now use the stand-alone version of IE7 for testing. Not a perfect application (pop up windows, for example, will not open) – but it’s a good transitional option for testing:
